Creating High Performance Innovation Teams

In Creativity Inc., Ed Catmull, the founder and President of Pixar makes the following point about innovation: ‘If you give a good idea to a mediocre team, they will screw it up. If you give a mediocre idea to a brilliant team, they will either fix it or throw it away and come up with something better’.

On 28th May Brand Genetics is speaking at FDIN on the topic of developing high performance innovation teams: we too believe that the team – and how they behave and act – is more important as the idea. We will be sharing some of the lessons from our long experience as innovation consultants working with some of the world’s most innovative businesses, with direction on what works and what doesn’t, but also out learnings on how to embed these behaviours within your team – more often the most challenging part of developing an innovative culture.

The day is set to be an action packed, interactive day – embodying our training approach of learning by doing through a series of workshop style exercises with the varied range of participants. So if you’re interested in not just sharing current ‘best practice’ but in hearing some of the approaches that the most forward thinking businesses and agencies are putting into place then come to the conference – or indeed get in touch directly.
